Inspiration & Creations At Detail Dee'signs

I love mixing textures, colors, old & new objects. The beauty of a vintage button can inspire an entire creation! I love adornment that has a story. The buttons I used for this came out of my grandmothers sewing box. Some of the chains were my mothers from the 1970's. I can still see her wearing them like it was yesterday. I used remnants of sari silk from www.objectsandelements.com to weave through the 1940's rhinestone belt buckle w/ an  old dresser drawer key. I used ICE resin to encase the message "the importance of living" in a bezel from objects & elments as well.

Creating brings me such joy I can't imagine my life w/out it! I often tell people if what I'm doing doesn't make me smile I don't do it!
